                      Steve Stirzaker aka Steve 'Sax' Solo  &  ' Tropical Gypsy ' started his musical career really quite late in life after spending many years serving in the British Merchant Navy. At the age of 33 & whilst working for Cunard in the Caribbean, he was enlisted to serve down in the Falklands during the conflict & he & his work/bandm8s ( Tropical Gypsy, an 8 piece Reggae band ) spent 10 months in & around Port Stanley entertaining & being entertained by many of our Services men & women aboard the Cunard Countess.

         After the conflict & the ship was decommissioned, Steve settled in the West Indies, married & had three of his five children in St. Lucia & Martinique, where he formed the Iyanola Band & played & toured with many International named Artist. Finally returning home to North Wales, with his young family, Steve setup Stepping Stone Studio & was plying his musical trade as Solo/Duo/Trio/Bands, both around N. Wales, nationally & internationally …

       Recently, Steve decided to go travelling round N. Europe through UK, France, Germany, Switzerland with the aim of finally recording his long awaited 1st. album. Finally with the lure of warmer Winters he has settled in the South of Spain where he met up with the very talented Angie Scott. As we both Love the Sunshine & the music & rhythms associated with the climate, we have decided to play Funshine music & spread warmth, light, love & happiness wherever we perform ...  Like Angie, Steve is also a self - contained solo artists & is available for smaller venues, playing wide range of music to suit all musical tastes from Past - Present - Future ... Love x Light x Harmony x  :-)x
